Mysore-Bangalore "Malgudi" Exp cruises past Nidagatta

Nidaghatta : A small quaint little station on the Bangalore - MYsore railway line, is served by 3 pairs of slow passenger trains. The tin shed serves as a ticket counter. An employee comes at the train arrival time sells tickets and leaves. The railway line to the rightmost of the pic, is a part of the double line project. The stretch (Between Settihalli and Maddur) was not doubled because of land acquisition problems near Maddur Station. Now that the problem is resolved, the new line can be seen.
