Nice shot !!!
Thanks! It is a UP trackage-rights train running Chicago-KC, but was apparently routed off of the BNSF Transcon at Bucklin, MO, to the former BN Brookfield Sub, which brings it into Kansas City by a slower path. Possibly some trackwork or other delay on the Transcon necessitated the diversion. Definitely a hotter train with so few cars to pull.
Quick an excellent shot and a high quality scan! Do you work with silverfast? Best regards!
Thanks for your comment, Dennis. My film scanner can only operate with VueScan from Hamrick Software, though I believe I have used Silverfast years ago with a flatbed scanner. With most photos, I find that Photoshop is essential, too, for color correction and sharpening, at the very least. Hope this helps. Best Wishes!
