Does this mean the Alcos will take a back seat to EMD's like Maine Eastern 764? Nice catch under wire.

As far as I know, there are no plans to sideline the two remaining Alcos (18 & 19). They should continue in service alongside the EMDs from Maine. They also have plans to use the former CN M420W seen trailing this consist.
