Previously, this X4630 railcar was carrying passengers on the Bourgogne region which off he still keeps the livery called "Vanilla-Strawberry" because of its red face on one side and yellow of the other. This is the local livery of the regional express trains over there. This railcar belongs to the category EAD (DAE: Diesel Automotor Element in english) of which it is the only survivor owned by SNCF. Now, it is part of the SNCF engineering since many years and has been converted into a laboratory and equipped to perform GSM-R radio measurements. On this picture, he goes back to the engineering laboratory near Paris after a few months of maintenance in Sotteville (Normandy). It's very rare and athypic to see this railcar in Parisian region. He will be retired at the end of the year...
