Saw this Red-Tailed Hawk (Buteo jamaicensis) circling over me yesterday, possibly sizing me up for a meal.
Second image is a collage of the same bird. Motor drives are great!

@white.dead KCUS is one of the last large Beaux-Arts-architecture stations built in the US, opened in 1914.

Had a nice walk in a small forest
today, seeing ducks, pelicans,
eagles and two deer moving about! Also saw a big tractor recently. And a bull-frog, too.

@white.dead - I can report that it was delicious. Scrambled egg chunks, bacon bits, cheese sauce as a base, with shredded cheese lightly on top, all bonded to a chewy crust, mmmmm!
