Rolling into Neralakatte for crossing with my train
Neralakatte is a scenic village in Udupi district of Karnataka state where diesel traction is still the power of all trains as the electrification is not complete and transformers are getting ready only. I was on an ALCo hunt and travelled in a WDM-3D hauled passenger train to Kabakaputtur and got down at Neralakatte station waiting for the same passenger train to go back to Mangaluru Jn . Before my train arrived, Mangalore Jn - Yesvantpur Jn Intercity Express rolled into Neralakatte in the mainline and stopped waiting for my train to arrive as this is a single line section operation. Thus got a chance to click one the main trains in this section in the morning.
