The KC Union Station including original surroundings seems great. Too bad the car infrastructure has ruined the beauty and great city space.

@ArtManDoo Agreed. Though we are lucky to have the station at all, due to political issues back in the 90’s which saw the station allowed to fall into disrepair. Were it not for a public outcry to save the last great Beaux Arts station built in the US, the private company managing it would have knocked it down to make room for a new office building. Now totally restored, KCUS/Science City is one of the city’s biggest attractions, with shops, restaurants and frequent artistic and historical exhibitions.
