Visiting Honnavar was on my wish list for a long time but reaching this remote location was the difficult part. Most of the trains wont stop at Honnavar station. Besides my age and health were also a hindrance. Then my friend who also never visited place invited me to join him in Honnavar trip. So I decided it is now or never, so joined him from Madgaon and reached Honnavar by Mangaluru bound Matsyagandha Express at 0400hrs. We waited till 0630 hrs and moved to bridge location before sunrise. We both had no idea how the light is going to be and which direction. My prayers were light should be favorable according to trainspo standards and from morning till evening light was what I wished and got few beautiful shots on the magnificent location.
