@Maersk.146 Yes, it is a great spot to catch many trains. If you´ll visit Cologne, you truly have to go there! On the left side, you have the Passengertracks (Cologne-Bonn), then there are the Tracks to Aachen(->Belgium)/Mönchengladbach(-> Netherlands)/Neuss and one Track on the right side that runs up to Cologne Central Station. I think if you stay there for maybe 3 hours (10am-1pm) you will catch many trains (6-8 freight trains an hour) + passenger trains (12-14 an hour).
Wow, that’s cool! I can only dream of such traffic density here in KC, USA. I’d be thrilled to see that many movements in an entire day!
