@1cctlives Yep, should be interesting to see if the CPKC future-traffic projections through the KC gateway will come to fruition. Right now, the idea that they could go to 17 trains a day from 3, north out of KC, is almost laughable, and from 11 to 25 south of KC seems absurd. First, they have to get the traffic away from BNSF and UP, who I imagine are not going to sit on their hands.
@Maersk.146 Yeah it will be interesting. It seems that shippers might appreciate having a single line to Chicago and other destinations north from Mexico and the Gulf Coast (and vice versa), increasing the number of trains on the line. But you're right, BNSF and UP aren't going down without a fight.
