On may 31, 2023, KombiRail announced they will be leasing four Vectron MS from Railpool. The first one, 193 106, entered service that same day, and for the first time in 15 years KombiRail actually stickered a locomotive. With the theme "We trust in Rail - 15 Years KombiRail Europe", the loco advertises for the many trains KRE drives between Rotterdam and Duisburg daily. This also makes KRE an interesting company to see for the first time in, you guessed it, 15 years. Hopefully the other three locomotives will get stickers too.
