Quest for a small village tucked deep inside Kadayam block of Tirunelveli district ended with three hours of search. Ravanasamudram station is a very small station on main line. Like many small stations of Indian Railways, it was surrounded by paddy fields with lush greenery all around and wind blowing. To add colors to scene, a rarity on mainline, PONMALAI WDG-3A was the power of Tirunelveli bound train which was slowly moving into the station.
