Everything you see in this picture will be history very soon - semaphore signals at St. Erth station and Great Western Railway's HST trainsets. There are only two stations left on Penzance - Plymouth mainline that use semaphore signalling, but these will be replaced soon. And most HST trainsets are already gone, to be replaced by new class 800/802 Hitachi's. Remaining few GWR's HST sets are expected to be withdrawn from service by the end of this year
