@alex26 - Thanks for pointing it out! It is a retired Santa Fe caboose, restored to complete cosmetic appearance, just as it would have looked when new and in service. The display goes along with the fully restored station, now used by Amtrak since 2021. After the devastating 1993 floods of the Mississippi and Missouri River basins, this station was determined to be too low for practical use, and raised five feet in one piece by some sort of engineering magic, while a new foundation of concrete was constructed underneath to support it. The station now rests above the 500-year flood level.
