Yes, its perfectly safe unless there is a significant storm! This was just a slight rough sea, at high tide with the wind in the east! Network Rail and the train companies do monitor the sea conditions, and services are suspended if the sea becomes too rough. 143s are fairly robust when it comes to the conditions shown, Class 220/221 units are not, the salt water causes problems and they can suspend services that use them. Historically trains used to run through in worse conditions than the ones I caputured!
