@Joaozito ALCOs are fast disappearing . In Indian Railways , EMD and GE will soon capture the diesel scene . In another 5 years ALCOs will cease to do mainline duty in IR .

@jmadhavadas In Portugal, CP only had in service 3 Bombardier MXS 627, of 13 1960 class, with Alco 251E V16 engine. The last 3 locos are expected to be withdrawn in 2015. Then, only English and French engines...
