UP 2535 (UP series 2520-2569) with UP 2522 made their first trip west on the North Platte, Nebraska, to Portland, Oregon, USA, train M NPPT 25. Train arrived Cheyenne, Wyoming were more auto rack cars (cars behind locomotives) were added. Train left Cheyenne at 8:30 PM configured 2 x 2 x 0 (two units up front, two in the middle of auto racks and no units on the rear - distributed power set up). Note-General Electric only locomotive builder that achieved Tier 4 production locomotive that will be built for Union Pacific and other American railroads in 2015. EMD (Caterpillar) did not develop a Tier 4 locomotive - will not produce locomotives in 2015 for American railroads.
