Nice view! Looks like they reinforced the sea wall a bit...
Oh yes, after the wall was hit by the storms, the wall needed repairs with reinforced concrete, the engineers thought the bits they repaired would be secure but said the couldnt vouch for the old!

Great series of photos. I'm amazed you could get down in the work areas so easily. No way that would be possible in the US...
Ah well it wast that easy! I had to have a full health and safety brief and be escorted at all times before I could enter the worksites! The shots in the gallery were taken on two visits during the Orange Army Operation

It also helped to be a local correspondent for The Railway Magazine the UKs oldest railway magazine.
