Ab 608 was built by NZR Addington (Christchurch) in 1915 and was named "Passchendaele" in 1925 as a War Memorial for over 400 railwaymen who perished in WW1. It is now owned by New Zealand Railway & Locomotive Society but based at Steam Inc depot at Paekakariki.
