ERODE WDM-3D #11121 is an unique WDM-3D with short hood modified like the WDP-4 locomotives. Even though the idea was increased visibility in short hood drive, the design had flaws. The cab seem to oscillate at higher speeds and the cab is uncomfortable. Many engineers prefer the original cab. Being an unique loco but it didnt impress the engineers working with loco. So this was the only loco modified by ERODE diesel shed.
