Humsafar express trains are fully air-conditioned sleeper trains. The coaches are equipped with some features like LED screen display to show information about stations & train speed, public address system, Vending machines for tea, coffee and milk, heating chamber as well as a refrigerating box for food items, cell phone/laptop charging ports etc. They have more comfortable berths than the previous 3-tier AC sleeper rakes. The coaches have Bio toilets at both ends. The exterior of coaches has a futuristic look with the use of Vinyl sheets. Safety measures have been upgraded with introduction of smoke alarms and CCTV cameras in the compartments.
