Here along the south banks of the Missouri River near Lexington, trees overhang the former MoPac River Sub in a nearly unbroken canopy. Small patches of light break through to partially illuminate the sporadic rail traffic. This train was a pleasant surprise, appearing just as I was driving across the Highway 13 bridge over the Missouri River. He’s doing about 40-50 mph in this stretch, so photo timing is tricky.
