UTKRISHT Express is a new series of Express trains with refurbished ICF carriages with better facilities. Interior of the carriages have got face lift with colorful interior and more facilities with more mobile charging points, better seats, better toilets . The carriage colors changed from usual blue to beige and maroon. The first train in Thiruvananthapuram division to become UTKRISHT Express was Thiruvananthapuram Central - H.Nizamuddin Weekly Express which did inaugural run on 26th December 2018.
