RANAKPUR Express passing through Thar Desert
India has different landscapes like mountains, plains, valleys, deserts etc. The Thar Desert, also know as the great Indian desert in the state of Rajasthan has been on my travel list always. Udramsar, in Bikaner was a perfect spot for trainspotting as the train passes through the sand dunes of the Thar desert. Recent heavy rains in Bikaner made the sand dunes greenish was a bit disappointment but it was exciting to spot trains the famous curve of Udramsar. Due to the heat in the desert, it was not easy for me to stay long in the desert.
