Looks very shiny, is it new or just had a paint job?
@Kempy72
It certainly is amazing how a new coat of paint can improve things! This loco began life as Seaboard Coast Line 4003 in October 1977, with subsequent service to Seaboard System (SCL/L&N Family Lines) and finally CSXT, before being sold off to Webb Asset Management. This is the first "new" power we've seen working the P.I.D. job in quite some time, so it's getting more attention than the older local war horses 🙂.
Ah I see. The Aussies don’t seem to have that many shunting locos. They just use spare mainline locos to do the job. NZ has locos dating back to the 60s and the rest from the early 80s. All much smaller than yours!
