@1cctlives Looks like wire was stolen a while ago on some parts of the route (assumption based on a random Google review). Stretch from the barn and further along Pine St, which is the shortest ride, seems to still be electrified. If they decide to run a longer ride, to Fruitvale (which was the case that day) or Selah, they have to bring their own power. Actually, the generator was started right behind where I stood, at Pine St - 6th Ave intersection (route turns from Pine to 6th there). It's definitely smelly, so I can't envy people on a return trip when the tram is moving generator first and all the exhaust goes right inside.
@YuriZhuck Thanks. Those are bold thieves to steal overhead wire. But a short line railroad near me lost one of their locos when the wiring was stolen from it, so I shouldn't be surprised by anything.
