It's changed a bit since with the abolition of the semaphore signals. Not sure what's happened to the box.

No, I believe it survives in situ, possibly to control the gates which were not replaced when the line was resignalled.

Have just checked Google Street View and the box is still there. Including the Fremlins Brewery sign on what now appears to be converted into a dwelling.
