The loco used for this commemoration is 43002 and has been named Sir Kenneth Grange. He was responsible for the iconic design and was there to carry out the naming in a short ceremony. The livery that has been applied is the same as what was used in British Rail days back in around 1984. With the exception instead the top half being blue it is now green.
