It's the oldest rolling stock still used by the SNCF - there are only two new Stadler EMU on this line, but it's a scheduled train almost like every other regional trains in France It's still operated by the SNCF, our national railways, which means that you can buy a ticket for this train like you would have bought one for the TGV. Of course, there are a lot of tourists, but local people still use it. Sometimes, when snow blocks roads, it's the only way to reach the plateau! This line is really, really amazing, with beautiful landscapes, viaducts and small stations. For someone who like railways, the ambiance on the Yellow train is incredible...
