There are loco classes in IR (Indian Railways ) which is not in your list like WAP-5 WAP-7 WAG-9 etc.How can these info be added?

At the bottom of the database page:

"If your country has a short list of vehicles, please fill the new photos. When you upload photos of new vehicles, they will be added to the database."

In the About section:

"The number of units of railway vehicles in the world is very high, and we cannot, of course, add all the units in the database manually. If you have photos of locomotives that are not yet present in the database, please upload them! As soon as photos of a new locomotive are loaded, we'll add a profile of this locomotive into the database and you will become a discoverer of this vehicle. It would be great if be not only twitter and flickr usernames in profile, and also a livejournal and homepage links too. And also not bad if buttons like "share this" with others blogs or social networks.

Profile will be improved this month. Sharing buttons will be added as far as photo page will be rebuilt a little.

I tried to enter location names with several words (Like: Zürich-Wipkingen, Yaoundé-Marchandises, Winterthur HB) and they were rejected. It looks also that accents (like in "Yaoundé") are rejected.

All that could give way to confusions, as for example:
- There is a station named "Zürich-Altstetten"
- If you write only "Altstetten": There are 3 other towns named "Altstetten" in Switzerland (and perhaps some others in Austria or Germany...)
- If you write only "Zürich": There are 15 stations named "Zürich-xxx", local railways not counted... (and it's possible I forgot a pair of them!)

Thank you for the report. This issue is fixed. You can now edit all your photos to insert correct names.

An ideas for adding a new feature: stats of viewing image, people profile (eg web-site, locality and city) and an accurate position in google map (eg flickr).

More stats and detailed profile in the working list. And we are planning to make an option to add GPS coordinates to the own photos.

Would it be possible to increase the length of the caption slightly to about 100 characters?

1) We have email notifications about comments/likes on your pictures.
2) We have email notifications about new pictures from your friends in follow list.

Could you tell us more about those notifications that you are missing?

Is it no longer possible to see the pictures "new vehicles" and "waiting" in the personal gallery, only in the "activity" list? I know I have more or less 10 of them, uploaded weeks ago, but it's hard to follow what happens (resp. what doesn't happen)

You can see every picture status in your personal gallery. You must be logged on.

Btw, good point to focus on it - we need to add more detailed status bar for the waiting pics in the personal gallery. Will be ready this week.

The problem is that when I open my personal gallery (when being logged in), I can see only the pictures who have been approved, but not the "waiting" or "new vehicles" ones.

Just look under the picture, and you can see picture status in square brackets. You can scroll all the gallery and find all waiting pics.

I know, this is really inconvenient way and that because we need to add more detailed status bar for all waiting pics.

It would be good to add a possibility to specify more than one vehicle for a photo.

Is it possible to add a gps coordinate instead of an location? Becasue many of my pictures are taken in the bushes.

This feature is not yet implemented, but we are thinking about how to make it more convenient.

At this moment you can upload pictures with GPS in EXIF headers. In any case, you can specify the area as location.

Is it possible to have the option to edit each field of vehicle details? It happened to me to make a mistake and I had to delete the photo and re-upload it instead to edit the mistaken field. Thanks.

You can use report button to tell what you want to delete/edit your picture.
